Payments & Shipping Information

Beyond the Box accepts the following forms of payment for online purchases:

Credit Card – Visa & MasterCard

We accept and process secure online Visa and MasterCard credit card payments through the Bank of Melbourne PayWay system.

We do not currently accept American Express or Diners Club cards.

PayPal (& “Pay in 4” Interest Free)

Payments can be made via PayPal, including PayPal’s “Pay in 4” interest free offering, allowing you to pay for your eligible purchase in 4 interest-free payments without setup fees. For more information on “Pay in 4”, click here.

Payments made online via PayPal will attract a 2% surcharge to cover the higher cost of transaction.

Direct Bank Transfer/Deposit

We accept direct bank transfer payment into our account. Account details will be provided when checking out, and we require 2-3 days for the funds to fully clear into our account before we can release/ship any goods.

Payment on Collection

Where you choose to collect your order directly from our store in Essendon, we can take payment on collection (click & collect). Payment methods in-store include cash, EFTPOS & Visa & MasterCard payments. Note that we do not accept cheque payments on collection.

 

 

 

Depending on what you order from us (and the size and weight of any packages), we may offer the following delivery & collection methods:

Shipping

For addresses in metro Melbourne we offer flat rate shipping for most orders. Orders are sent through our centralised shipping partner and may utilise different carriers depending on what is most suited to your order and shipping address. Orders are always sent requiring signature on delivery and will not be left at your address unless there is someone to receive it.

For Victorian and Australian addresses outside metro Melbourne, our systems quote shipping rates on an order-by-order basis based on what you order and where it is shipping to. If you have a specific enquiry about shipping or have custom requirements, please contact us prior to placing your order.

Collection from our Essendon Store

Orders can be collected from our store in Essendon (click & collect). Payment will need to be completed and fully cleared before collection can occur (or payment made physically on collection). Once your order is processed online, we will contact you to let you know when it is ready to collect (generally within a business day).

Collection from your School (for portal orders)

For education parent purchase portal orders, collection may be available directly from your student’s school. Where this is offered, it is generally as part of a bulk scheduled delivery (ie, collection at the start of Term 1) and orders can’t be individually delivered on a different schedule. if you have specific questions on school deliveries, please contact us to discuss.
